On November 11, 2025, the 2025 Chinese Management Forum in Memory of Peter Drucker & the 12th Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Summit — jointly organized by Nanjing University Business School, China Machine Press, and Lingjiao Academy — successfully concluded in Nanjing. At the event, Absen was honored with the 2025 Chinese Management Prize in Memory of Peter Drucker in recognition of its systematic management practices and effective organizational development.

Peter Drucker, widely recognized as the “Father of Modern Management,” championed a management philosophy grounded in humanistic values, asserting that people, society, and belief form the essential of effective management. His ideas and writings have profoundly influenced generations of scholars and business leaders committed to innovation and best management practices.
The Chinese Management Prize in Memory of Peter Drucker was established to advance Drucker’s liberal management philosophy, promote the development of modern management in China, and contribute to a healthy and sustainable social ecosystem. Today,it is regarded as one of the most respected and prestigious honors within China’s management community.

At the forum, Mr.Hansen Ding, Chairman of Absen, was invited to share the company’s best management practices alongside leading international scholars, industry experts, and innovation pioneers. Using Peter Drucker’s core principles — “creating customers”, “empowering individuals”, and “social responsibility” — as his framework, he presented a systematic overview of the management philosophy that has guided Absen’s journey from Shenzhen to the global stage and its development into a leading brand in the LED display industry.

Anchored in the Principle of “Creating Customers”, Continuously Delivering Value
Peter Drucker believed that the purpose of a business is not merely to pursue profit but to create customers. Absen has embedded this philosophy throughout its global operations. Rather than engaging in low-level “specification battles,” the company defines technological leadership through real customer needs. By meeting—and surpassing—customer expectations, Absen drives product innovation and builds long-term competitive advantages.
This unwavering focus on fundamentals has enabled Absen to strengthen its global presence amid force market competition. Even when facing adversity, the company has maintained clarity if direction and delivered steady, high-quality growth. In the first three quarters of 2025, Absen achieved revenue of RMB 2.872 billion, up 5.66% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 195 million, a 57.33% increase. These key indicators outperformed major competitors, underscoring Absen’s strong and resilient business momentum.
Building Organizational Resilience by “Empowering Individuals”, and Unlocking Employee Potential
In organizational management, Absen firmly believes that the essence of management is to inspire the goodwill and potential of people. Employees are regarded as the company’s most valuable asset.
Through a series of initiatives — including fostering a corporate culture centered on authenticity, advancing digital operational systems, and implementing a three-tier partnership mechanism—Absen is committed to transforming employees from passive “executors” into members of a shared enterprise community. These initiatives aim to unlock individual strengths and enable ordinary people to achieve extraordinary results. By putting these management principles into practice, Absen has strengthened value alignment across its global teams, significantly enhancing organizational creativity and resilience. As a result, its overseas business has maintained double-digit growth for three consecutive years.

Defining the Boundaries of Growth Through “Social Responsibility” and Leading the Industry Toward Sustainable Development
Recognizing and embracing social responsibility is a core principles of Peter Drucker’s management philosophy. He believed that a manager’s third essential task is to respond to social values—because assuming responsibility is the foundation of a company’s long-term development. Absen regards social responsibility not as an optional initiative but as a fundamental requirement for its own growth. By working closely with global ecosystem partners, the company integrates social responsibility into the broader agenda of sustainable industry development.
A company grows by creating economic value — and becomes truly meaningful by taking responsibility. Absen actively advances industry progress by promoting regulatory compliance, championing eight key LED display standards covering safety, health, environmental protection, and quality, and accelerating the adoption of standardized, branded LED products to cultivate a healthier and more sustainable industry ecosystem. Beyond industry leadership, Absen also fosters cultural exchange and mutual understanding. The company regularly welcomes global clients to visit China, using business as a bridge to encourage communication and integration across different countries, regions, and cultures.

Absen’s 25-year journey stands as a embodiment of Peter Drucker’s principles of “creating value, empowering individuals, and embracing responsibility”. Receiving the “Chinese Management Prize in Memory of Peter Drucker” is not only affirms Absen’s achievements in management to date, but also reflects the expectations placed on its future development. As it embarks on this new chapter, Absen will continue to uphold Drucker’s management philosophy and strive to become a global leader defined by both resilience and responsibility.
